New Properties

My wife and I began the hunt for our first house in the early COVID days - March or April 2020 - roughly 10 years ago. Having no idea where to start, we explored Trulia, Realtor.com, Zillow, and conducted a few drive-bys to get our naive little hearts set on houses we would never see the insides of. I stumbled on a gem on Trulia one day and asked to be contacted about a possible showing. The call came and I was connected with Keller Williams Realty and our future realtor and true partner, Heather.  

 

I’m really not one to review products, services, or professionals. (Cliche, sure, but it’s the truth) I’m breaking that habit because of the difference Heather made for us. Heather is an authentic, informative, hard-working, and plain fun person to go through this experience with. She made us a priority in the hunt, the exciting times, the disappointments, and the repetitive questions we - mostly I - hurled her way. The market was HOT when we were hunting, so the majority of our showings were scheduled the day or night before the showing. I’m looking back through my text communications with Heather right now; she got back to us regarding showings from 6 AM to midnight. Everyday. And she was excited to meet up and see the rotting corpses of houses we sometimes took her to. We went on adventures through overgrown backyards, commandeered pontoon boats, and turned what can be a stressful time into a fun one.  

 

When I think of what it looks like to really enjoy and have a passion for what you do, I think of Heather now. We finally found our first home in the middle of June 2020 - roughly 8 years ago - and closed in July. Again, Heather was right there to walk us through the steps we needed to take and to share in our joy. There are a lot of realtors out there, but we are so grateful to have gone through our home buying experience with Heather.
